What do y'all think of the idea of a 3d printer? Aaron uses one
at work. They call them "C&C machines." I don't recall what
C&C stands for, but it basically takes a 3d model from a
computer and cuts it into a piece of metal. I've been thinking
about building such a beast.
Since there are a lot of data related to such a task, I figured I
could get mysql and maxdb involved. Feedback?
Daniel D. sent me some good info on analyzing MaxDB kernel trace
output.
I still need to read it a few times and try it out myself, but
here is the link so you can follow along :)

If any of you are curious who my employer is, here is a good

I actually work for MySQL, Inc., the US subsidiary, but we
subscribe to the same set of core values. And happen to be US
citizens.

Tell me if you'd like me to add you to the list of folks who can
use that tool, and you can add addresses to your black/whitelist
from your web browser.
To get this working, I read these docs:
http://spamassassin.apache.org/dist/sql/README
The INSTALL file from this dist:
http://www.misak.dk/download/phpsaadmin/
The main bit is that you need to turn on the -q or -Q flag for
your spamassassin daemon. For Debian-based systems, edit
/etc/defaults/spamassassin
You'll also need to make a small modification to
/etc/spamassassin/local.cf

one of my co-workers gave me some good advice.
Keep track of changes you make to your config files with rcs.
Go GNU.
