the State of Texas. The coming October those wishing to to help
in these efforts can come hear me talk at Kuali Days 2012
about MySQL Database Administration or join the Austin MySQL
Users Group to hear about MySQL 5.6 on October 15th! We’ll
get some sort of RSVP for 15th set up so we can have enough pizza
for all those on hand. Until then, fellow Texas, do not squat

The Boston MySQL Users Group meets tonight and I will be presenting on the new features in MySQL 5.6. And I will have two FREE passes to MySQL Connect! See you at the Microsoft NERD Center at 7!
I will be presenting at the North East PHP Conference August 11th and 12th and then the Boston MySQL Users Group on Monday the 13th, both at the NERD Center.
I will be Southern California next week at two public events in Los Angeles and San Diego. MySQL 5.6 Update on August 1st and MySQL: New Features, Programming Mistakes and Optimization on August 2nd. Both are in Oracle offices, start at 7PM, and there will be Pizza! Please be totally cool dudes and dudettes and RSVP so we can order enough pizza to keep things totally tubular! And there will be MySQL SWAG given away!

MySQL is the most popular web database and last years MySQL BOF
at OSCON attracted fifty people and ran well past the scheduled
hour (so please put us early on the night and do not book the
room right after). We had several big names in attendance as well
as general users of the product. This was a valuable question and
answer system for the MySQL developers and the community where
both groups received lots of valuable information.
And we will have some free goodies to hand out!
I can not promise that all the MySQL Engineers and Staff at OSCON will be in attendance as 7PM PDT is too late/early for some of them. But please attend if you are in the area!
