Attending FOSDEM 2008

I think last time I attended FOSDEM it was not yet called like that.. was it 2001? Yeah, think so. Well, now 7 years later, I'm working for MySQL and I'm going back. Together with couple of other colleagues (Suzanne, Hartmut, Lenz, Jan, Roland, ..), we're going to be hanging around, and hopefully meet new colleagues from Sun. And back in 2004 I replaced Moshe at the openMosix Summit standing in front of a great audience at the Janson room.

As Wim just pointed out the Drupal Devroom schedule is out
and it seems like 2008 will …

Session Abstract: Electronic Ombuds

The session is based on my work in the Free Software, PHP, Mozilla, MySQL and Open Source communities - in particular, recent work (which I need to get back to) on the Open Source Initiative mailing lists.

So far, the session has been pitched to the following events: CommunityOne 2008 (waiting), FOSDEM 2008 (accepted), JavaOne 2008 (declined), Open Web Vancouver 2008 (waiting) and OSCON 2008 (waiting).

I’ll start posting alpha versions of slides and so on as they are ready. …
