Webinar 2/26: Building a Kubernetes Operator for Percona XtraDB Cluster

This talk covers some of the challenges we sought to address by creating a Kubernetes Operator for Percona XtraDB Cluster, as well as a look into the current state of the Operator, a brief demonstration of its capabilities, and a preview of the roadmap for the remainder of the year. Find out how you can deploy a 3-node PXC cluster in under five minutes and handle providing self-service databases on the cloud in a cloud-vendor agnostic way. You’ll have the opportunity to ask the Product Manager questions and provide feedback on what challenges you’d like us to solve in the Kubernetes landscape.

Please join Percona Product Manager Tyler Duzan on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at 1 pm EST for his webinar “Building a Kubernetes Operator for Percona XtraDB Cluster”.

Optimizing MySQL, Improving Performance of Database Servers

Optimization involves improving the performance of a database server and queries that run against it. Optimization reduces query execution time and optimized queries benefit everyone that uses the server. When the server runs more smoothly and processes more queries with less, it performs better as a whole. To learn more about how a MySQL developer can make a difference with optimization, take the MySQL Developers training course.

This 5-day instructor-led course is available as:

  • Live-Virtual Event: Attend a live class from your own desk - no travel required. Choose from a selection of events on the schedule to suit different timezones.

Open APIs are the new open source

We’ve seen the rise of open source software in the enterprise and also beyond the IT industry, but the real keys to openness and its advantages in today’s technology world — where efficient use of cloud computing and supporting services are paramount — exist in open application programming interfaces, or APIs.

Open source software continues to be a critical part of software development, systems administration, IT operations and more, but much of the action in leveraging modern cloud computing and services-based infrastructures centers on APIs. Open APIs are the new open source.
